Swimming

Swimming with Sharks is not too hard if you’re A shark, but if you’re not it leads to utter exhaustion

  • This was a first, What can I say, I saw the worst
Felt like a stray that’s left behind at adoption

Swimming with sharks is not too hard if you’re a shark
But if your not it leads to utter exhaustion

    I’m not a shark, I am a bird, I am a dove
I ride the wind with only love and some caution

And all I want is love

Had enough of the ride in the shelter from pain
Been around for a while, I'm not playing that game
No solutions are built on foundations of hate
I wanted love, I wanted love

There was a plan to change my heart, a wave of hand
But this is love it isn’t something you borrow

I’ll make it plain not bought with cash its made with pain
I’ll carve a cup into my heart from the sorrow

And what it holds isn’t my hurt, it holds my love
made from the day that I was born til tomorrow

And all I want is love

Had enough of the ride in the shelter from pain
Been around for a while, I'm not playing that game
No solutions are built on foundations of hate
I wanted love, I wanted love

There is a time to take a stand, not fall in line
If its not now, then maybe its from a coffin

Not what I think its what I’ll do to make it right
Cause what I think is just a thought and forgotten

Swimming with sharks isn’t for me, I am a dove
I ride the wind with only love and some caution

And all I want is love

Had enough of the ride in the shelter from pain
Been around for a while, I'm not playing that game
No solutions are built on foundations of hate
I wanted love, I wanted love
